***Matches of the Month are selected by the DVD editing/creation crew. It is meant to be a way of recognizing excellent effort and skill. The crew takes into consideration entertainment value, storyline, importance of the match, psychology, crowd reaction, etc. We disregard all politics when deciding the Match of Month. However, certain aspects may hinder some matches that are out of the wrestlers' control, causing it not to be considered for the award: for example, bad camera work, sound, lighting, etc. Most months, it is very difficult to whittle the show down to one "best match". This award is most definitely subjective, and we understand that what we think is impressive could vastly differ from other people's perceptions.
