The Finals Are Set!
This was top to bottom the most solid show to date, just ask your mom. She was sitting on my lap the whole time. Donovan Daniels cheated to get the upset win over Sigmon, and now the #4 seed is in the finals of the TXW tournament. Local legend Deke Rivers had his comeback match as a #2 seed, but Jerry Lee didn't care. Deke was upset by the #3 seed Jerry Lee in their tournament match. This means Daniels and Lee will meet in the finals next month to see who becomes the first TXW Heavyweight Champion.
This show also marked the first time TXW fans got to see the Blassie Twins (they came from the same mom?). The Danny Devito/ Governor Arnold tag team was well on their way to take out Ruff Cut, but those mongrels the Forsaken Angles Guild interfered and cost the brothers the match. After the match, Ruff Cut pulled out a sweaty gob of cash and paid the Forsaken Angels Guild for services rendered. There will be a revenge match next month between the Blassies and the Forsaken Angles Guild.
Twisted (wearing Scotty Trojan's cardboard and duct taped "White Trash Belt") and Scotty Trojan met in a 3 Knock Down Match. Twisted knocked down Scotty twice in twenty seconds, giving the impression that the demented ex-tag team partner was gonna make quick work of his old friend. Twisted then changed the rules to a Last Man Standing Match, stating that Trojan had no chance since he was already knocked down twice. Trojan then went on during the match to gain momentum, but a mysterious woman named Monroe Fayte used ether to knock out Trojan while the ref was knocked down. The ref woke up, counted out Trojan, giving Twisted another win in the series. Referee Bobby McClure, nursing an injury given to him last show by Twisted and Funkmaster V, stated that Twisted cheated once again, and that there will be one more match to settle the score between the two. Twisted and Jon Diamond then beat the crap out of the ref again... poor Bobby McClure.
