Scramble Lives Up to Hype
Its hard to imagine that TXW's Scramble for the Gold 2 would offer more surprises than the original. Wittnesses to the first Scramble saw Beth O Mac betray her husband and start following around Funkmaster with puppy dog eyes, Dwayne Windham picking Jerry Lee as his tag team championship partner over his friend JK Nelson, and the firing of Billy Marshall. But this one had TXW fans on the edge of their seats from the beginning to the end.

Show Notes:
1) Since Travis Sawyer was injured and the title hadn't been defended in the last 60 days, the Commissioner was forced to strip the title from the Champion due to TXW by-laws. David Branson put the title up between the challenger Bob O Mac, and anyone who wasn't inlvoved in the Scramble, and Maskerade made a surprise return before the doctors cleared his return from being burned alive.
2) In the TXW Heavyweight Championship match, the Creatures of the Night hit the ring and leveled Bob O Mac and Maskerade, citing that they run the show and didn't want either wrestler being the champion after the referee called the match a No Contest. David Branson overruled the decision and restarted the match. Bob eventually was able to land the Bob-O-Matic on Maskerade for the Championship.
3) Jim Miller scored a quick pinfall win after Warren Peace accidentally hit his own client Dwayne Windham with his club.
4) Funkmaster V had the Demon looking like he would tap in the Funky Figure Four Grapevine, but Dwayne Windham Frog Splashed Funkmaster V, causing their qualifying match to be ruled a DQ.
5) Bobby Rayne appeared to win the first briefcase, but embraced his tag team partner Ryan Luther before landing on the ground with the briefacse in his possession. The Nature Barry Allen snatched the up and landed on the ground for the #1 Contender for the TXW Youtube TV Title contract.
6) Dwayne Windham took a nasty spill off of the top of the ring when the pole broke. The Youtube Champion appeared to break his arm in the fall, but still gathered up the briefcase and was later checked out to be OK. His pride was broken, however, when it was revealed that the briefcase he almost seriously injured himself for contained the Valet slip. Branson appointed Dwayne to be Funkmaster V's valet for 30 days.
7) Bobby Blassie turned on Bob O Mac after the briefcase presentations, attacked him, and then stated that Bob O Mac didn't have enough respect for the veterans in TXW and that Bob O Mac let him down by leaving their Tag Team Championship Match back in Feburary when Bob O Mac was distracted by his wife and left Blassie alone to take on Ruff Cutt.
8) Tyson Daly is the newest edition to the Creatures of the Night, and helped the stable tie up Demetria and Maskerade to the ring after the Scramble for the Gold was over.
