PIX VITAL-STATISTICS BIO
Name:
Allen Shepard

Team: Shenanigans

Finisher: Downfall

Famous For: Shennigary

Allen Shepard is regarded as one of the best all around wrestlers in the area. He started out at TXW as part of the Blacklist, then he started tagging with Nick Taylor, as The Shenanigans, and the change seemed to do him good. After winning the TXW Tag Team Championship with Taylor, he and his partner took on all comers. That is, until Preston Tipton stepped in and persuaded Taylor to turn his back on his partner for the "Almighty Dollar". Shepard has been trying to get back at Taylor for doing him wrong ever since.

"The Lon Chaney of Pro Wrestling"
Barry Allen

Team: None

Finisher:Depends on the Character

Famous For: Spot on Imitations

Poisoned by watching thousands of hours of pro wrestling, it is obvious that Barry has watched too much wrestling in his young life. He can do spot on imitations of your favorites including: Ravishing Barry Rude, Barry the Snake Roberts, Shieky Baby Barry Allen, Barmala (pictured), The Immortal Hollywood Barry Allen, The Exotic Barry Street, The Heartburn Kid, and Macho Man Barry Allen. Barry, a former TXW YouTube Television Champion, never ceases to put on a great show for all in attendance, but normally chickens out doing top rope finishers of the stars.

Name:
Bob O Mac

Team: Bob Squad

Finisher: Bob O Matic

Famous For: Yellow Pockets

Bob O Mac got his start in TXW as a referee. After months of torment from the TXW heels, he ripped off his referee shirt for good. He joined Bobby Blassie, to form the Bob Squad, and won the TXW Tag Team Championship, after retrieving one the briefcases in the first ever "Scramble for the Gold" match. He took part in TXW's first ever Ladder Match against Dwayne Windham for the TXW YouTube Television Championship; and went on to end a two-year feud that revolved around his wife Beth O Mac with Funkmaster V in a Cage Match. Recently, Bob has become a multi-time TXW Heavyweight Champion, trading it back forth with his former tag team partner, Bobby Blassie

Name:
"cRaZy" Bobby Blassie

Team: Bob Squad

Finisher: Top Rope Elbow

Famous For: Boxers

Bobby Blassie, known for disco dancing, running his 6 laps around the ring before facing his opponent(s), and wearing his boxer briefs, started TXW in a tag team with his "twin" brother Billy Marshall. After Billy turned his back on him, Blassie used his energy, resiliency, and unorthodox offense to climb the ranks and win the TXW Tag Team Championship as part of the Bob Squad with Bob O Mac. In the 2010 Scramble for the Gold, Blassie retrieved the #1 contender's briefcase for the TXW Heavyweight Championship. Blassie went on to win the championship after turning on his tag partner. After recently losing the championship back to Bob, Blassie has vowed to regain the title.

"Beautiful" Bobby Rayne

Finisher: Rayne Drop

Famous For: Loving Show Tunes

Bobby Rayne started off in TXW with Merrick Vestal to form the Forsaken Angels Guild. After turning on Vestal by smashing a mirror on his head and setting his face on fire, Rayne called upon the services of Ryan Luther. Rayne went on to win the TXW Tag Team Championship in a battle royal with unlikely partner Sgt. AWOL. He later tricked AWOL, and began his second reign as a tag team champion with Luther. After having some problems with Luther, Rayne decided to go on a separate path. In 2010, Rayne has proven himself to be a very successful singles wrestler as well. He competed for the TXW Heavyweight Championship and most recently won the TXW YouTube Television Championship from Barry Allen at Christmas Chaos IV

Name:
Buggy Boy

Team: None

Finisher: Buggy in tha Hole!

Famous For: Talking to Shopping Carts

Buggy Boy is a fan favorite, through and through. He is jolly, friendly, and... in his own way... very funny. TXW fans and kids alike tend to forget the fact that this grown man talks to shopping carts- generally being concerned about their feelings, and accept him for what he is... one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the Southeast today. Buggy Boy is happy to be back in TXW, and although there are alot of giggles and raised eyebrows when Buggy hits the entrance, his immovable size, experience, and drive to make the fans happy make him a very dangerous competitor. For if Buggy Boy defeats you, not only is your take home pay less and your rankings in the TXW slips, you have to call your wife on the phone and tell her you just got beat by a man wearing a smiley face mask.
Name:
Chase Owens

Team: None

Finisher: Modified STF

Famous For: Being Able to Still Fit in his Varsity Jacket

When Chase Owens calls himself the "Real Deal", just watch one of his matches and you'll understand why. Owens made his debut in a very impressive match with Tony Givens in February 2010, winning "Match of the Month". Since then, Owens has gone 1-1 with Shawn Shultz (after interference by Tony Lucassio on Shultz' behalf).

Name:
Demetrya

Team: The Gathering

Finisher: Devil's Descent

Famous For: Double Takes

Demitrya came into TXW confusing everyone, especially men who thought he was a hot chick until he came a little closer. This superstar had matches against Violet Adamz that culminated in a hair vs. hair match. Eventually, Demitrya started a feud with Juggalo Drake, which resulted in Drake not being able to use the Juggalo name, and ended in a “4 Corners of Death” match. These matches earned Demitrya the "Feud of the Year" in 2009, as voted on by the fans. Demitrya also won the TXW YouTube Television Championship in the inaugural "Scramble for the Gold" match. Later in 2009, Demitrya and Maskerade (Drake) seemed to earn respect for each other and decided to form The Gathering. Along with Monroe Fayte, these two have climbed to the top of the tag team division, even having another "4 Corners of Death" match during their feud with The Creatures of the Night in 2010.

***Highlights: TXW YouTube Television Champion, Feud of the Year 2009, Three-Time Match of the Month Winner
Name:
Demon

Team: Creatures of the Night

Finisher: Chokeslam

Famous For: Scaring Children & Sonny Fargo

The Demon is one of the most intimidating wrestlers on the TXW roster. Funkmaster V accompanied the Demon to the first Christmas Chaos show, in a match against The Buggy Boy. Demon did not return to TXW until September 2009 teaming with Funkmaster V to form Detroit Funk City, with Beth O Funk as their manager. During an episode of TXW Main Event, The Demon was trying to recreate "The Great Muta's paralyzing mist", and unfortunately swallowed some of it causing an injury to himself. Later on, things seemed good for DFC, until the Demon, Shane Daniels, Dwayne Windham, and now manager Warren Peace turned on Funkmaster V, after his cage match with Bob O Mac. Since then, the Demon has been tagging with Shane Daniels, as The Creatures of the Night, and even won the TXW Tag Team Championship against The Shenanigans. Since winning the titles, the champions have been involved in feuds with The Gathering, and most recently Street Dreams, which started a war with SAW wrestling from Maryville.

Name:
Dr. Cancer

Team: Headstrong Zodiacs

Finisher: Hasn't Got that Far

Famous For: Never Winning a Match

Hailing from Parts Unknown, Dr. Cancer has not had much success in TXW. He has informed us that Cancer refers to the Zodiac sign that is represented by a crab. Constantly chanting, Ursa Minor (which is the constellation Little Dipper); he has yet to win a match. In fact, he actually lost a match to the debuting Beth O Funk at the TXW show in March 2010. Even after teaming with his partner, Sir Virgo, as the Headstrong Zodiacs, Cancer is still looking for that elusive first win.

Name:
Dwayne Windham

Team: Creatures of the Night

Finisher: Frog Splash

Famous For: Incessant Whining

Dwayne Windham became the first person to graduate from the TXW Training School in 2009. Windham was surprisingly also able to win his first two matches, earning him a YouTube Television Title Shot against Funkmaster V. In July, Windham snagged the first briefcase in the "Scramble for the Gold", winning the TXW tag team titles. He shocked the fans and picked TXW monster Jerry Lee as his tag team partner. Later in 2009, Windham showed his true colors by siding with Detroit Funk City along with Shane Daniels. After joining this team, Windham went on to win the TXW YouTube Television Championship in a 6-man tag match in January 2010. In August, for the second consecutive year, Windham grabbed another briefcase during the Scramble for the Gold. However, Windham didn't fare as well as he did the year before, because the briefcase he retrieved revealed he had to be someone's valet for 30 days. It just so happened that TXW Commissioner, David Branson, chose Funkmaster V to be the person Windham had to be a valet for. After being made to wear a dress, pretend to be Justin Bieber, do Funk's farm chores, being shot out of a cannon, and even escorting the Funkmaster to the ring in his singlet, Windham had had enough. He cost Funkmaster a match by getting him intentionally disqualified and then hitting Funk with a chair. Windham and Funkmaster have been feuding ever since.

Name:
Funkmaster V

Team: None

Finisher: Figure Four Grapevine

Famous For: Time to Ride the Funk Train... Toot Toot!

TXW's official ambassador of Funk Music, Funkmaster V started off in TXW to get revenge on Buggy Boy, after he had allegedly scratched his Suzuki Aerio (with the Boss Rims) with a shopping cart. Later on, he began his interview segment, "The Mothership", interviewing such wrestlers as Chris Cameron, The Reaper, Sgt. AWOL, Scotty Trojan, and others. He then began pestering Bob O Mac about his wife which led to a match in June 2008. In March 2009, Funkmaster became the TXW YouTube Television Champion by paying Billy Marshall to lie down and let him get the pin. In August of the same year, Funkmaster started Detroit Funk City with The Demon and Beth O Funk. DFC feuded over the tag titles until Shane Daniels and Dwayne Windham joined the group as well. Funkmaster feuded with Bob O Mac until June 2010 when they were in TXW’s first ever cage match. After the match, DFC, now managed by Warren Peace, turned on the Funkmaster in a strange turn of events. After that took place, Funkmaster raged war on The Creatures of the Night (formerly DFC). Funkmaster got some revenge at the second annual Scramble for the Gold, when Commissioner David Branson stated Dwayne Windham had to be Funkmasters valet for 30 days. Most recently, Funkmaster defeated Windham in a "Chain on a Pole" match at Christmas Chaos IV.

Hollywood Kid

Finisher: 450 Splash

Famous For: Bragging that he knows 'George Clooney'

Hailing from the West Coast and relocating to Athens, The Hollywood Kid is another student from the school of Barry Allen. Hollywood has already achieved some success in his young career, and is one of the few wrestlers in the Southeast that can land a 450 splash. After only wrestling a few matches, it's apparent he has a bright future here at TXW.
Name:
J-Mac

Team: Street Dreamz

Finisher: The 865

Famous For: Trying to Pawn the TXW Tag Team Titles

J-Mac got started in TXW back in 2008. It wasn't until 2010 that J-Mac became a mainstay here. Tagging with Shawn Streets, as Street Dreamz, J-Mac has wrestled for the TXW Tag Team Championship on numerous occasions. Most recently, he and Streets stole the tag titles after The Creatures of the Night had interrupted one of the shows SAW (Severe Attitude Wrestling) was putting on. At Christmas Chaos IV, Street Dreams stole the titles for a second time after winning a triple threat tag team match.

***Highlights: One-Time Match of the Month Winner
Name:
Jerry Lee

Team: None

Finisher: Power Slams

Famous For: Decapitations via Clotheslines

Jerry Lee started off in TXW in the Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Getting by such talent as Chris Cameron, Buggy Boy, Deke Rivers, and finally Donovan Daniels in the finals, Jerry Lee became the inaugural TXW Heavyweight Champion. After winning the title, Jerry feuded with Daniels for months. This feud culminated in a "Fans Bring the Weapons" handicap match, with Donovan teaming with his manager Tony Lucassio. Jerry Lee remained undefeated for almost a year. The following year he became one half of the TXW Tag Team Champions at "Scramble for the Gold" after Dwayne Windham grabbed the briefcase with the tag title in it and named Lee as his new partner. Later that year, Lee took part in another tournament to crown a new TXW Heavyweight Champion, losing to Travis Sawyer. Since that time, Jerry Lee hasn't been seen much at TXW, but we can guarantee you that you can plan on seeing him in the near future.

***Highlights: TXW Heavyweight Champion, TXW Tag Team Champion, Two-Time Match of the Month Winner
Name:
Jim Miller

Team: None

Finisher: Reverse DDT

Famous For: Abductions/ Snuff Films

Jim Miller debuted at TXW in 2009 in a Heavyweight Championship match against champion Billy Marshall. Since that time, he has made quite the impression at TXW. After feeling neglected by TXW only hiring him one time to wrestle in its three year history, Miller decided to make sure that he got a permanent spot on the TXW roster. He did that by abducting former TXW Heavyweight Champion Chris Cameron and holding him against his will for over five weeks in an undisclosed location. After that incident, Cameron has since retired, thus giving Miller the spot that he sought so much to acquire. Since then, not many people have stepped in the ring with "The Showtime Kid", for fear of what this individual may do next.
Name:
Maskerade

Team: The Gathering

Finisher: RKO/ Half Nelson Choke

Famous For: Becoming one with Fire

Maskerade started out in TXW under the name Merrick Vestal and tagged with Bobby Rayne in the Forsaken Angels Guild. After some friction between the two, the tag team "broke up". These two squared off in a one-on-one encounter with Vestal coming out on top. However, after the match, Vestal had a mirror broken over his head and a fireball thrown in his face. After this took place, Vestal changed his name to Juggalo Drake and started wearing face paint to cover up the scars. Two months later at the first annual Night of Terror, Drake became the inaugural TXW YouTube Television Champion by defeating Bob O Mac and Funkmaster V in a Triple Threat I Quit match. In March of 2009, Drake lost the right to the Juggalo name after a loss to Demitrya, thus becoming Maskerade. The feud between these two came to an end after Maskerade defeated Demitrya in a "Four Corners of Death Match". Afterwards, the two had so much respect for one another, they, with Monroe Fayte, became known as The Gathering. In 2010, The Gathering began feuding with Detroit Funk City/Creatures of the Night. In May The Gathering defeated DFC in their specialty, "Four Corners of Death" match, but not until after Maskerade was chokeslammed through a flaming table onto the concrete. Most recently, Street Dreams has also become involved in the feud against the Creatures of the Night.

Name:
Nick Taylor

Team: The Shenanigans

Finisher: Starmaker

Famous For: Snacking During Promos

After serving for the United States military, Nick Taylor came to TXW looking to make a name for himself. Having been a few matches in 2008, Taylor really rose to fame when he and his tag team partner Allen Shepard, as The Shenanigans, began to compete for the TXW Tag Team Championship. In April 2010, Shepard had apparently been injured by Ruff Cutt before the show started. Shane Daniels was chosen to take Shepard's spot. Taylor and Daniels were victorious and became the new TXW Tag Team Champions. Unfortunately, they refused to continue to tag together in the future, so the titles were held up. On an episode of TXW TV, The Shenanigans defeated the Detroit Funk City to become the tag team champions. Everything was going well for the champions until Preston Tipton stepped in and persuaded Taylor to turn his back on his partner for the "Almighty Dollar". Taylor and Shepard have been feuding ever since.

Name:
Ricky Valentine

Finisher: Atomic Drop FaceBuster

Famous For: Making Out with Hand-Held Mirror

A product of Barry Allen's school in Athens, Valentine finished 2nd to Spoony Mack for a TXW developmental contract; however, the TXW staff was so impressed with Valentine, that they offered him a contract too. Valentine is a little hung up on his own "good looks", but there is no question that this rookie has a great future ahead of him.
Name:
"Ravishing" Ryan Luther

Team: Forsaekn Angels Guild

Finisher: Running Powerslam

Famous For: Whistling Show Tunes

I don't know what it is... but there is something not right about the Foresaken Angels Guild. I mean... it's not that they're not great wrestlers... because they are... it's just that they whistle a lot of showtunes is all. And they have great ideas on hairstyles. I mean... they suggested an idea to me and it was great. I may just get my hair done like that. But anyway... they are a special tag team with an attitude hellbent on winning. I don't know what their problem is... but if you don't ask, they won't tell.

***Highlights: Two Time TXW Tag Team Champion, One Time Match of the Month Winner
Name:
Shane Daniels

Team: The Creatures of the Night

Finisher: Chokebomb

Famous For: Anger Outbursts

Shane Daniels exhibits amazing strength, agility, and rabbit-like quickness. Daniels was introduced as tag team wrestler in TXW. Later he thought he might have found his niche, in the stable Detroit Funk City, as a singles wrestler. After challenging for the TXW Heavyweight Championship multiple times, Daniels tagged with Nick Taylor for one night only to become the TXW Tag Team Champions. Then, he began tagging with the Demon. Daniels took part in the Four Corners of Death match, in May 2010, against The Gathering. During that match, he, along with The Demon, chokeslammed Maskerade through a flaming table onto the concrete. Since then, he regained the tag titles while tagging with the Demon. Recently, Daniels has had a heated feud with TXW Hall of Fame referee Mac MacMurray. Both had assaulted each other on numerous occasions. In November, Daniels attacked MacMurray, and as a result ended his career as a referee.

Always giving the fans something to cheer/boo about, Shultz always delivers excitement in every match. The only thing, Shultz does better than wrestle, is irritate a crowd. Recently, with his manager, Tony Lucassio, Shultz has traded victories with Chase Owens. It will be interesting to see who will win in their next encounter.

Even after teaming with his partner, Dr. Cancer, as the Headstrong Zodiacs, Virgo is still looking for that elusive first win. Spoony Mack is one of the most charismatic and likable wrestlers to pop on the scene in quite some time. Spoony won a developmental TXW contract on TXW TV against Ricky Valentine and has quickly won over the TXW faithful in his matches since. With a background in Mixed Martial Arts and under the watchful eye of Barry Allen, there is no telling what Spoony can achieve in TXW.
Name:
Travis Sawyer

Team: None

Finisher: Cradle Shock

Famous For: Intimidating the Masses

Son of the legendary Buzz Sawyer, Travis Sawyer came to TXW in 2008 as one half of The Platinum Kings along with Robbie Race. After wrestling for the TXW championship, Sawyer began running with his group, The Blacklist. After the group disbanded, Sawyer started in a year long feud with The Rip over who was the strongest man in TXW. With the feud finally ended after a 3 Knockdown Match, Last Man Standing match, and an arm wrestling match, Sawyer came out on top and became the TXW Heavyweight Champion. After successfully defending the championship for six months, Sawyer suffered an injury which caused him to forfeit the title at the Scramble for the Gold in 2010. Since that time, Sawyer has vowed revenge and has promised that he will prove why he is the toughest man in TXW.

Adams has proven time and time again why she is here at TXW and is the most successful womens wrestler in the history of TXW.

Managers
PIX MANAGES BIO
Name:
Beth O Funk

Manages: Detroit Funk City

They say the first year of marriage is the hardest, and in Bob O Mac's and Beth's case, it's most certainly true. Most people associate Beth with singing the National Anthem at TXW's shows and being Bob O Mac's polite wife from Kingston. Imagine their surprise when she slapped Bob O Mac in the ring when he was trying to protect her, and at the next show, she came out arm and arm with his most hated rival: Funkmaster V. Now going by Beth O Funk, her presence at ringside has helped Funkmaster V and the Demon not only at TXW events, but all across the Southeast with her "oh, did I do that?" shenanigans. We may never know what her intentions are for managing Detroit Funk City and betraying her husband's trust, but we are mainly shocked at the fact that Funkmaster actually pulled this tall tale off.
Name:
Monroe Fayte

Manages: The Gathering

Monroe Fayte is a hard person to figure out, and numerous men at TXW have called upon her for assistance from time to time. Her small frame makes it easy for her to slip in and out of the referee's view, doing diabolical things along the way. We believe she enjoys creating chaos more than anything else, and though her allegiance can be bought, she is quick to find a new flavor of the month to run with just for the sake of doing so. She has helped Chris Cameron, Jon Diamond, Funkmaster V, Maskerade and Demetria to victories and losses along the way... not caring who wins or loses, just wanting to see someone get hurt...
Name:
Tony Lucassio

Manages: Travis Sawyer

Tony talks a mile a minute: the whole time thinking about what you are going to say and planning an argument for that before he is even done saying the first thing that comes out of his head. Quick to think and speak, the overzealous Tony can get himself and his wrestler of the evening in as much trouble just as easily as he can help guide them to a victory... costing some poor fool the match with a lightning quick trip, kick, or spontaneous refferee conversation. Tony is called "Weasel" by wrestling fans, and has lead wrestlers to titles all around the world... even Papa New Guinea. Though he favors his left earlobe, Tony has been known to climb into the squared circle from time to time with surprising results. Some call him the greatest manager in the Southeast today, and some even say the world. Look at his track record, from the "Rust Belt Boys" with Donovan Daniels, to the infamous "Black List", to managing Travis Sawyer, Shawn Shultz and the Platinum Kings and beyond, Tony has said what he was gonna do, backed it up and drank half a beer before you could even respond... Mutant.
Name:
Warren Peace

Manages: Creatures of the Night

The ultimate party animal has come to TXW and the promotion will never be the same. Warren Peace is a mastermind when it comes to wrestling, and he has made a big splash already. In a few short months, he has ousted Detroit Funk City's manager Beth O Funk, the man that started the group, Funkmaster V, and changed their name to Creatures of the Night!!! He has promised to take CotN to places that Funkmaster V could not... and one of those places is probably a rehab or halfway house.
