Bobby Blassie Leads His Team to Victory in Kids' Boxers

A record crowd for TXW in the South Knoxville Family Rec Center saw a show that felt like a Pay-Per-View from the opening bell on.
1) Chris Cameron vs. Scotty Trojan
Scotty Trojan's Final Match
These two were old tag team partners that have went their separate ways. Scotty Trojan requested that his final match be with his old tag team partner, the former Heavyweight Champion Chris Cameron. The match was a good clean sporting affair, however it was ruined by Team Ruff Cutt, who clobbered Trojan with a chair shot and proceeded to piledrive Cameron before their Main Event match with him. Before Team Ruff Cutt could give Chris Cameron a second piledriver, the Bob Squad and Jerry Lee was ran in and cleared out the ring, setting up the drama that was to come.
Winner: Scotty Trojan by DQ
2) TXW Youtube TV Championship
Funkmaster V vs. Scotty Trojan
Judo Match
Funkmaster V informed the crowd that he had Bobwyre deported to Mexico because he was a carrier of the Swine Flu, and that he had an open challenge for anyone in the back. The crowd was shocked to see Scotty Trojan take him up on his challenge after receiving a beat down from Ruff Cutt moments earlier. The match was supposed to be free of punches and kicks (Judo Rules), however Funkmaster used punches and kicks everytime the ref was turned around. Funkmaster sent the ref to the ground, and took advantage of Trojan with an onslaught of punches. Trojan lost his temper and started to retaliate with punches of his own. The ref revived himself to see Trojan punching Funkmaster V in the head repeatedly, and the ref called for the bell. Funkmaster then proudly showed his Judo medal he won when he was 13 to the people in the crowd, which said "Best Judomanz" and looked like two CDs held together by ribbon and rubber bands.
Winner: Funkmaster V by DQ
***After the match, Scotty Trojan informed the crowd that he had to retire b/c of his health, and said good-bye to the sport and the TXW fans to a respectful ovation.
3) Fatal 4-Way (Tag Rules)
Demetria vs. Violet Adams vs. Masquerade vs. Dwayne Windham w/ JK Nelson
This match exhibited the feud between Demetria and Masquerade getting nastier, the two new TXW training school graduates, and the violent one: Violet Adams. This match was out of hand, with much of the attention being directed at Demetria's wardrobe and his/her feud with Masquerade. Eventually, Dwayne climbed the top rope and leapt off the turnbuckle onto all three competitors on the floor below. Later, he landed his finisher on Violet Adams for the upset win. Does this impressive win by Dwayne Windham put him in line for a TXW Youtube TV Title shot???
Winner: Dwayne Windham by pinfall
***After the match, TXW management had Demetria and Masquerade sign a contract for their next match at the May 30th show that officially is not sanctioned by the TXW, relieving TXW of all liabilities in the match.
4) Urban Militia vs. Willie B Badd (of DRI) and Rip
This match saw the return of Urban Militia, the former Tag Champions whose Title reign fell to foul play by Ruff Cutt. However, the crowd was split on who to cheer for, with the chants of DRI and "Reaper"and "AWOL" being heard throughout the match. This match had some excellent tag moves, but mysteriously, The Reaper disserted AWOL, (pardon the pun) and Sgt AWOL eventually succumbed to the awesome power of Rip and Willie B Badd.
Winner: Willie B Badd and Rip
5) Shawn Shultz and John Justice vs. Travis Sawyer and Tony Lucassio
This was originally scheduled to be a triple threat match, but the 90lb loud mouth ran his trademark mouth so much that TXW management granted Shawn Shultz's wishes and made it a tag team match. Tony was a typical coward, picking his spots for cheap shots and running behind Travis Sawyer when it got tough. Travis eventually started to wear down, but surprised the crowd by blocking Shultz's DDT by holding onto the rope and pinning him with his feet on the ropes. Tony then ran his mouth some more.
Winners: Travis Sawyer and Tony Lucassio
6)Team Elimination Match
Team Ruff Cutt
(Marshall, Powers, Rivers, Race)
Vs.
(Chris Cameron, Jerry Lee, & the Bob Squad)
This match felt like a main event at a WWE Pay Per View, because everybody in the audience was excited at the possibility of seeing Ruff Cutt get their comeuppance at the hands of the league's favorites. However, Cameron could not participate in the match due to being piledriven earlier in the night. The match was heated back and forth, with frantic action, near falls, and reversals landing seemingly non-stop for almost twenty minutes. Eventually the 4 on 3 advantage started to exhibit itself as Team Ruff Cutt began to wear down young Bob O Mac. After several minutes of disregard for the rules and for Bob O Mac's legs took place, Chris Cameron hobbled out to support the team. He quickly became involved, causing Robbie Race to cut him off with a chair. Race was DQ'd for the first elimination of the match, giving the good guys their first advantage. Cameron was soon cheap-shotted in the neck for a quick pin, and Jerry Lee chased Billy Marshall out of the ring and was counted out. The tag team of Ruff Cutt eliminated Bob O Mac after a Ruff Cutter, regaining an advantage. But soon thereafter, Bobby Blassie scored a very quick roll up over Mike Powers, but it looked bleak as Jody Rivers scooped up Blassie for another Ruff Cutter with Mike still in the ring. Amazingly, Bob O Mac tripped up Mike Powers, and Bobby Blassie reversed the hold position into a pin attempt complete with a tights pull for the 1-2-3!!!
Winners: The team of Chris Cameron, Jerry Lee, and the Bob Squad
***The crowd went ballistic with the win, and Ruff Cutt promised to vow revenge. Ruff Cutt started to beat down the Bob Squad with a folding chair. TXW management had to get involved again, threatening Ruff Cutt to either leave the Bob Squad alone or face suspension.
The next show is May 30th back at the Ritta Building in North Knoxville on Washington Pike! Don't miss it!!!
