We Have a New Champ!

#3 seed Jerry Lee used his size and power advantage over Donovan Daniels to win the inaugural TXW Heavyweight Championship at March Madness in Lake City. Donovan’s manager Tony Lacasio tried to stop Jerry Lee from pinning Donovan after Lee’s patented powerslam, but the champ had other ideas. Jerry Lee suplexed Tony into the ring, at the same time Daniels recovered and power bombed Jerry Lee! Daniels could not capitalize, however, and Lee went on to get the pin moments later. After the match, a frustrated Daniels and Lacasio blindsided the new champ and stole the belt. This isn’t over!
On Monday of this week, TXW management has decided to fine Daniels $500 for stealing the Championship belt.
In the Main Event, Scotty Trojan proved the critics wrong and upset Twisted in the Lake City Street Fight. The former tag partners LEFT IT ALL ON THE LINE in this one. Hardcore lovers will have to watch this match on DVD if you missed it. Several metal objects were bent around people’s faces that match… including Twisted’s managers Jon Diamond and Monroe Fayte. Rookie referee Bobby McClure made the final three count after the original ref was knocked out. McClure better hope Twisted doesn’t decide to put him in his Modified Figure Four again when he regains consciousness.
The TXW Tag Team Tournament began as the Blassie Twins got revenge on the Forsaken Angles Guild. You want to see some revenge evidence? Just look on Merrick Vestal’s chest and see the handprint Billy Blassie left there. You can see the wedding ring imprint and it is three days later!
Also, the Headhunters were defeated by the Death Riders in the other Tag Tournament first round match. We all new that Justin Karma couldn’t stay with an upstanding, and moral wrestler like Ryan Luther very long, so after the match, Karma and his manager dished out an additional beating. Luther is on record saying he will get revenge on Karma.
Funkmaster V exhibited his prized possessions on the Mothership, his best acting trophy from the Oak Ridge Playhouse for his lead role in the adaptation of Brokeback Mountain, the bra his mother threw on the stage at his first live performance, and the “supposed” retirement letter from the Buggy Boy. Later, he ridiculed Sgt AWOL and the Reaper, and challenged them to a push up match. If Funkmaster V won, he would fight them in a handicap match the next show, and if he lost, he would retire from wrestling. The two agreed and then were ambushed by the Forsaken Angels Guild. After a retaliation which cleared the ring of baddies, Reaper and Sgt Awol decided to reconcile their differences and reunite their old tag team, “The Urban Militia.”
“Wildman” Jeff Anderson proved once again why we was one of the most famous wrestling jerks in the Mid-South by cheating American Hero Trooper T out of his rightful win. Jeff didn’t make any friends that night by insulting the crowd so much.
