The Germaphobe Strikes Again
1) Maskerade w/ Monroe Fayte & Demetria vs. Dr. Cancer Again, Dr. Cancer didn't look too hot in this one, as the sad clown took out Dr. Cancer with his half-nelson choke and submitted him. As the Gathering were celebrating, Funkmaster V and the Demon stormed the ring and left Demetria and Maskerade laying. Monroe Fayte tried to escape, but the Demon choke slammed her and dropped a leg on her throat. Funkmaster V said he was tired of losers being cheered, and Detroit Funk City still being boo'd, and that DFC was going to take the Gathering out of the TXW.
Winner: Maskerade by submission.
2) Donovan Daniels vs. "The Germaphobe" Justin O'Day Justin O'Day was once again preoccupied by trying to clean off the ring and his opponent. Using his spray disinfectant on his arm, O'day used a sleeper on Donovan Daniels and knocked him out with the fumes. This win vaults O'Day back into title contention.
Winner: Justin O'Day by submission
3) Youtube TV Title Match
Chris Cameron (C), Nick Taylor, and Zack Dillon
VS. Detroit Funk City This was a fast paced match that quickly turned into chaos. As most competitors fell out to the floor, Chris Cameron ducked a Dwayne Windham superkick and stood up into the Demon's Red Bloodmist. This apparently injured Cameron's eye severely, and Windham was able to score a pin and win the title as Cameron screamed in pain.
Winner: Detroit Funk City, Dwayne Windham receives the belt.
4) TXW Tag Team Championship Handicap Match The Bob Squad (C) Vs.
Ruff Cutt & Preston Tipton TXW Commissioner, David Branson jumped up on the ring apron for moral support, but Ruff Cutt work like a machine in this one, tagging in and out, with Preston Tipton even looking sharper than you would expect. However, midway through the match, Bob O Mac was distracted as a visibly disturbed Beth O Funk came out to the ring. He dropped down to check on his wife, and immediately Funkmaster V tried to pull her away. Bob O Mac started attacking Funkmaster, but Dwayne Windham blindsided him. In the ring, Bobby Blassie reversed the offense and looked for a tag from his partner, but he wasn't there. Ruff Cutt finally overpowered Blassie, and pinned him for the 1-2-3.
Winners and new TXW Tag Team Champions: Ruff Cutt and Preston Tipton.
After the match, it appeared that the Bob Squad split up, but we will report on this later.
5) TXW Heavyweight Championship Travis Sawyer (C) Vs. "The Future" Shane Daniels w/ DFC Shane was not alone in this match, as most of the stable of Detroit Funk City came out to complete their day of dominace. However, Travis stated that he let Tony Lucassio take the night off because he knew this would be a cakewalk. The new Champ dominated Daniels for most of the match, but after a flurry of late offense, Daniels took control and set up for a Vader Bomb. As Funkmaster started prematurly celebrating on the apron and distracted the ref Mac Macmurray, Travis low blowed the challenger and used the ropes for leverage to put him away 1-2-3.
Winner: Travis Sawyer by pinfall; retains
