A solid crowd came out to witness a historic night in TXW history. Before the action took off, TXW Owner, Jerry Tipton addressed the recent issues with the Creatures of the Night and appointed a new TXW commissioner, Mac MacMurray... to deal with the mess.
1) TXW Youtube TV Title
Macho Man Barry Allen (C) vs. Bobby Rayne
Bobby Rayne broke up with his partner Ryan Luther last show to pursue a singles career. It appears to have been an excellent career move. After Macho Man Barry Allen went to the top to land his top rope elbow, Barry decided better of it and went down to the second rope after getting spooked by the height. The extra time allowed Bobby to roll out of the way and Bobby scooped up the champ to start his "rayne" as champ with the Flatliner.
Result: Bobby Rayne pins Barry to capture the TXW Youtube TV Title
2) Allen Shepard vs. Nick Taylor w/ The Moneyman
Allen Shepard pulled out an old trick as he used threw Nick Taylor a chair. Nick caught it, and when the ref turned around, he saw Allen pretending to be knocked out and the ref rang for the bell, assuming Nick was up to his cheating ways.
Winner: Allen Shepard by DQ
3) Chase Owens vs. Shawn Shultz Loser Shakes Hand Match This was an excellent match that was so good it broke the bottom rope. Shawn cheated by grabbing a handful of tights and pinning Chase. Shawn and Tony demanded that Chase shake his hand, and after the Commissioner Mac MacMurray begrudgedly got invloved, Chase half-heartedly shook Shawn's hand but vowed revenge.
Winner: Shawn Shultz wins via pinfall
4) TXW Heavweight Championship
Bobby Blassie (c) vs. Bob O Mac This was another epic battle between ex-tag partners, where each man did everything they could to best each other. Bobby Blassie landed his top rope elbow, and Bob O Mac landed the Bob O Matic twice. The second one did Blassie in, and Bob O Mac put away his old friend for the 1...2...3 and his third reign as TXW champ. Winner: Bob O Mac won the TXW Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.
After the match, Bobby Blassie demanded another rematch immediately. Mac MacMurray, flexing his new Commissioner muscle, politely declined.
5) The Creatures of the Night vs. Maskerade & Tsunami Kid vs. Street Dreams Tag Team Elimination Match
Earlier in the night, the Creatures of the Night hid under the ring at SAW Wrestling in Maryville and stole the TXW Tag Team Championships back... and apparently Street Dreams made the trip up to Knoxville to get them back. After a tag team war that saw the elimination of Tsunami Kid and Maskerade and a knock out of the Demon, Street Dreams was able to pull off the unlikely win and stole the belts back and took them back to SAW. This was not turning out to be the Creatures of the Night's...um.... night. Winners: Street Dreams via pinfall
6) Funkmaster V vs. Dwayne Windham Chain on a Pole Match The Creatures of the Night went 0-2 here as Funkmaster V and Dwayne struggled to get the chain the whole match. When Funk laid out Warren Peace and Dwayne with the chain, the crowd went crazy as he wrapped it around his kneebrace and applied the Funky Figure Four to a screaming Dwayne Windham. Dwayne tapped out and looked like he was going to cry to the bemusement of the fans. After the match, Funkmaster said that Dwayne was the first to fall, and the rest of the Creatures of the night are next. Winner: Funkmaster V wins by submission
