Frustration…
Jerry Lee defended his TXW Title successfully against #1 Contender Donovan Daniels, but Lee left the arena empty handed once again. After the match, Donovan Daniels and his manager Tony Laccasio called out the Platinum Kings and the 4 men beat the daylights out of the champ and Donovan stole his TXW title again! Donovan Daniels was fined $500 last month for the same thing. TXW management will likely cause more damage to his pocketbook this month. (And I do mean pocketbook).
Diamond Foundation’s Twisted showed up in a tormented state, and openly mocked Jerry Lee for not being able to put away Donovan Daniels. Twisted and Jerry Lee brawled when Jerry had enough, and Twisted escaped doom by expertly blocking Jerry’s Powerslam. The TXW Champion needs to make some friends, FAST!
The newly reunited Urban Militia (Sgt AWOL and Reaper) took on their hated rivals, the Forsaken Angels Guild and the hooded Memphis Mafia in a three way tag match. The Memphis Mafia destroyed the two teams, and in frustration, Bobby Rayne turned on fellow F.A.G. Merrick Vestal. The Guild’s losing streak is mounting, and it looks like tensions are reaching the breaking point!
Shawn Schultz announced that he was the reason Sigmon was where he was in the region. If that’s true, Sigmon showed teacher who was now boss by defeating Schultz 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring.
The Menace outlasted Keith Knox in an excellent match.
The Platinum Kings advanced to the TXW Tag Team Semi Finals by defeating Shane Andrews and Allen Sheppard.
Violet Adams ducked the old "powder in the eyes" trick from Electra, but sadly the ref did not. Violet punished Electra for that and made the pinfall, but the blinded ref raised Electra's arm instead.
