The Night of Champions ironically saw the three champions of TXW go down and even more upsets piled up as the night progressed.
1) The Gathering w/ Monroe Fayte defeated Street Dreams via pinfall The two crowd favorite tag teams went back and forth until The Gathering eventually came out on top. Street Dreams congratulated The Gathering but issued a challenge for next time.
2) Spoony Mack defeated Funkmaster V w/ Mini-Funk via DQ In the last act as being Funkmaster V's valet, Dwayne Windham came out dressed up as Funkmaster himself. Funk even complimented Dwayne for having a decent attitude throughout the month of torture as his valet. Spoony Mack and Funkmaster V had a solid match until Funkmaster locked Spoony into the Figure Four. Dwayne came in and smashed Spoony with a chair, costing Funkmaster the win, and then hit Funkmaster V with the chair after the bell was called for. Dwayne promised Funk revenge for his month long humiliation.
3) Sean Brooks & the Hollywood Kid defeated Jim Miller & Ricky Valentine via pinfall. Jim Miller stated that Ricky Valentine was not his partner in crime during the Chris Cameron abductions, and TXW was trying to screw him over again by puting a rookie with him. During the match, Jim became hostile at Ricky and left the ring area, leaving Valentine alone. Sean Brooks landed a Swanton Bomb and then tagged Hollywood Kid in to land a 450 Splash on Valentine for the 1-2-3.
4) TXW Youtube TV Title "The Immortal Hollywood" Barry Allen defeated Dwayne Windham (C) w/ Warren Peace by pinfall After 11 successful defenses, the longest reigning champion in TXW history befell to Barry Allen as Hulk Hogan in a classic Youtube TV Title match. Dwayne had the advantage most of the match, but as he ascended to the top rope, Funkmaster V came to the ring with a chair, allowing Hulk... I mean Barry Allen to have enough time to slam Dwayne off the top and hit the leg drop for the 1-2-3. There was much rejoicing and posing after the win.
5) TXW Tag Team Championship The Creatures of the Night w/ Warren Peace defeated The Shenanigans (C) via pinfall In an anticipated rematch, the Creatures and Shenanigans had an excellent bout that had an envelope full of cash involved in a Shenanigans match again. The Money Man, Preston Tipton, tried to convince Allen Sheppard to accept a pay off repeatedly, and Nick Taylor incorrectly assumed that the money exchange happened when it did not. As the champions argued, Preston threw the envelope in as Shane Daniels Baldo-Bombed Allen Sheppard. Nick saw how much money was in the envelope and allowed his partner to get pinned. Nick Taylor walked off with Preston Tipton and The Creatures of the Night celebrated bouncing back after losing the TV Title earlier.
Match Note: This is the 3rd match in a row where Mac MacMurray and Shane Daniels have been involved in an altercation. Jerry Tipton has warned them both with a suspension and as interjected a "NO CONTACT" policy between the grappler and ref.)
6) TXW Heavyweight Championship Bob O Mac (C) defeated Bobby Blassie via pinfall to retain the Championship Bob O Mac and Blassie had an amazing match that saw Bob O defeat his partner to retain the championship... however...
7) TXW Heavyweight Championship Bobby Blassie defeated Bob O Mac (C) via pinfall In a very astute move, Bob Blassie informed the crowd that he was already the #1 Contender for the belt, and that Bob O did a good job defending the belt in that match. Then, Bobby Blassie said it was time to "cash in" the briefcase contract that he won at the Scramble for the Gold, the referee rang the bell and then Blassie plowed a shocked Bob O Mac with the briefcase. Blassie hit his top rope elbow drop and pinned the new champion for the 1-2-3 and became the new TXW Champion.
8) Legends Match Jeff Anderson pinned Ricky Morton Jeff Anderson proved why he was a legend by cheating to beat the former World Champion by putting his feet on the ropes for the pinfall in an electric match that had the TXW fans Rocking and Rolling the whole time.
